The images are then carefully edited and delivered to a private online gallery, usually within a week.
You can share the gallery link with family and guests if you’d like others to view the photographs.
After
On the day, I’ll arrive at the agreed time and photograph the event as it develops.
Coverage can be arranged for a few hours or for the full event.
During
Before the event, I’ll ask about the flow of the day, the timings, the key people, and whether there are any particular moments you’d especially like covered.
That helps me plan the photography in a way that supports the event naturally, without affecting how it unfolds.
Before
Yes. The people are always the heart of the coverage, but the room, styling, food, flowers and details all contribute to how the occasion looked and felt.
Only in accordance with what we agree. If your celebration needs to remain completely private, it will.
It depends on the event. For some dinners or smaller celebrations, a couple of hours is plenty. Larger birthdays and parties may benefit from longer coverage.
Send me the timings and I’ll recommend what I think makes sense rather than automatically selling you more hours.
A small preview can be supplied shortly after the event, with the finished gallery delivered within the agreed timeframe.
Absolutely.
Most of my work is documentary, but family and group photographs can be important at private events. I’ll organise them quickly, give enough direction to make everyone look good and then let you get back to the party.
The aim is always the same: images that make the event feel as good as it looked.
Yes.
Private events often happen in restaurants, bars, hotels and evening venues with difficult or changing light. I work comfortably in those environments and use additional lighting when it improves the photograph without taking over the room.
